Today (18 Sep 2024), reporters reported that the Third Naval Area Command brought a T-111 ship to help 143 tourists who were stranded on Koh Racha Yai, including Chinese tourists and tourists from the Middle East, after receiving a request for assistance that they were unable to return to shore by themselves due to waves 3-4 meters high. The latest update is that they have safely reached shore at Phisit Panwa Pier, Phuket Province.
